club car reverse

I've got a 86 club car that has a problem with reverse. Forward works fine but when it is in reverse it has very little power. It is a 36 volt cart. Thinking it may be the reverse solenoid. Any thoughts? Thanks.

A solenoid is nothing more than a heavy duty switch or relay. It's an on or off device. While it may have bad or dirty connections they generally work or they don't.
