Go Cart with Predator 212 engine

I am building my 7 year old a go cart. I have purchased a predator 212cc horizontal engine from harbor freight. I am looking for the right clutch any help on that? Also I would like to slow it down from stock. Will this change the size clutch I will need? Thanks for your help

You need to buy a clutch that matches the shaft on your engine. So, what clutch you'll need depends on the engine's crank. Then you also need to figure out what gear ratio you want. This is determined by the number of teeth on the clutch and the number of teeth on the sprocket on the axle. Slowing the cart down can be done with a higher reduction which will increase acceleration, load carrying and hill climbing ability while slowing the top speed.
