1969 Harley Sportster, clutches won't disengage

I bought a 69 Harley Sportster that has been just sitting for years. it pulls forward when you disengage the clutch, will not stop completely, and won't go into neutral. I readjusted the clutches twice, it'll go into neutral and shifts gears fine, after awhile the bike will start pulling again at a dead stop and won't go back into neutral. I have no idea the last time the clutches were replaced, by sitting all this time without being driven could the clutches need to be replaced?

Harley Clutches

I am no expert on Harley Clutches, but I can tell you that just sitting is not good for ANY machine. Moisture collects, vermin of all sizes, and seals harden just to name a few. Take it to a good shop and spend the money to have it gone over completely. You can always get your money out of a Harley.
