Bumper loose

Bumper is loose after scrapping a snow bank. Can I fix it by myself, if so how. And how much would a mechanic charge.

Lot depends on what got broken, fascias are held on by series of clips and screws, if the impact busted them up to the point they cant be refastened then the fascia needs to be replaced!

Aftermarket fascias are in the $150-250 price range not including paint.

Take to body shop your easily going to see a $1000 bill but that's what a free estimate will tell you!

You need to crawl under it and see just why it's loose. It could be as simple as replacing some 'plastic' bolts/rivets or as noted above there could be clips or tabs that have broken off.

Long ago my wife knocked a plastic trim panel loose. I popped it back in place where possible and drilled a few holes and used black zip ties in out of sight locations. It was still holding strong when we sold the car several years later.
