Won’t shut off
I have a 96 Yamaha gas golf cart that won’t shut off as long that the battery cable is fastened! I replaced the ignition switch and still won’t shut off, could it be the ignition relay? Need help!!!

First, make sure there is not a rock stuck in the mechanism underneath the gas pedal. That's usually the culprit.
If that's not it I'd locate the kill wire for the ignition coil. Find that wire's first connection point and short it to ground to see if it kills the engine. If it does then the problem is a switch or wire on the cart chassis. If it doesn't kill it then the coil's kill wire might be broken.
