I am going to try and cook a turkey on a gas grill. Has anybody tried this. What was the outcome? How long do you think it would take? Its about 6 lbs. What temp inside for turkey?

To cook a turkey on a gas grill you would need to treat it like cooking in an oven.
Indirect heat and try to maintain a consistant temperature so your cooking time will be accurate.
Not sure if you like smoke cooking but this would be an opportunity to add a bit of smoke to the bird.

I fool with this type of cooking and would suggest you start a couple of hours early if you are learning to do this.
It's preferable IMO to have it done early and reheat it than to have to come up with some fancy party games while you wait for it to be done.

I did it! Took about 3 hrs same as a pork loin. Next time I'll take it off the fire at 170 instead of 175!
