Have an old Weber kettle grill, is there a way to tell age by color

Hello, I have noticed that the Weber grills nowadays are black. Mine is brown. Is there a way to tell age by color? I'm curious. I'd show a pic, but this site is not accepting the jpeg for some reason, the grill is a light brown color. It would be interesting to know age. Thank you much

Looks like it could be from 64-68, One of the leg support brackets rusted off so I had to screw it in at a different location.
