lawn tractor

I have a 1991 Yard Pro lawn tractor with a 38 inch pan. Can anyone help me with the linkage hookup in the pan for the blade engage?

Do you have it off and apart, or just trying to figure out what is wrong? I assume the blade engagement handle won't go all the way up, or all the way back down, as this is the most common problem on those mowers. There is a rotating flat plate of metal on the deck that turns when you engage the blades. On either side of this is an arm that goes to each blade pulley. These are the blade brakes. On the end of each blade brake nearest the center of the deck, there is a small bolt with a metal roller on it. replace both rollers and bolts. Lubricate the pivoting plate, and you should be good to go. Let me know if this is the problem you are experiencing, and if this fixes it.
