Poulan chainsaw

Anybody direct me on where I can get piston rings for poulan chainsaw. model 3450 1-2 years old. Chain store that now sells them doesn't get parts and local repair stores don't want to deal with Poulan's "chain store" models. Can do it myself but can't seem to find a 6 dollar part. About ready to make ring myself !
Southeast Michigan area.

Thanx for any ideas !

A lot of newer poulan equipment has a 1-800# for customer service listed on a sticker on the side. You could also contact them at www.poulan.com. It's a shame that many repair shops don't want to do little things for their customers. My way of thinking is that if I do the little time-wasting things for my customers, then they will come to me with the bigger more profitable things when they occur. So far, it seems to work.

Good luck finding your rings!
