gas leak from filter (LAWNMOWER)
I have a Craftsman 6.25 mower. It recently started leaking from gas from the filter next to the primer. It was working great before but when I started it up it ran a few then stopped.
It was stored outside away from rain but exposed to heat (sun)
Is the choke stuck? please help

Hello Jazzaq!
This has a Techumseh engine on it. They are intolerant of outdoor storage. To correct this problem, you will need to replace the needle, seat and/or float. Remove the bolt that holds the carburetor bowl on. Remove the float. If it sounds like it has gas inside it when you shake it, then replace it. Replace the needle which is attatched to the float with a wire clip. Replace the seat, which is a small rubber "washer" looking piece that is pushed up into the hole that the needle goes up into. To remove the old seat, you may need to find a long wood screw that is thin enough to fit in the hole without force. start the screw into the old seat enough to get a hold of it, then pull it out. The seat should come out with it. Let us know how it goes, or if you need more help.
