Briggs & Stratton

I have a walk behind lawnmower with a B & S engine. The problem is this:

When I fill the gas tank, the gas leaks out through the primer button.

Is this something that I can fix or do I need to take it to the repair shop?

Thanks, Lynn

Lynn,
There are two tabs at the bottom of the primer bulb that have to be pressed inward at the same time. Then get a new bulb (if the old one is leaking) and reverse the procedure. They make a couple of tools for this (which make the job very simple), however I believe I would just try and 'worry' it back on.
