Lightbulb Head bolt torque spec

I am currently overhauling an 8 HP Briggs and Straton engine that is operating on a Troy-Built "Horse" Tiller. Can anyone tell me what the head bolts should be torqued to (FT.LB.)?

Hello Rhodes!

If it is an aluminum cylinder, the torque is 165 in. lbs.

If it is a cast iron cylinder, the torque is 190 in. lbs.

This is for a model 19xxxx model engine, which is an 8hp. The 1st 2 numbers must be 19.

Hope this helps!
