chainsaw won't start

Just installed a carburetor kit in a Stihl 0 15 chainsaw. It is getting spark to the cylinder but will not crank. Have tried new plug, new gas and various other things but still cannot get it to run. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Try putting a squirt of gas in the spark plug hole, then start it. If it runs for a second, then quits, you still have a fuel problem. One very common problem is that the fuel lines deteriorate and get a crack or hole in them. This could let the engine pull air instead of fuel from the tank.
