Snowblower won't start

I have a 1 year old Craftsman, Briggs & Stratton 3.8 HP snowblower. I purchased new last year and never had the opportunity to use it. I assembled it and started it once to make sure it worked last season. I drained and stored as recommended. We had a sudden snow last evening and I filled with gas and oil, replaced the plug and could not get it started. The plug becomes saturated with gas. Any ideas on how to get it running or should I keep my shovel handy?

you need to make sure you are getting fire on the plug, also have you tried a new plug. you may want to check and see if its still under warranty.
