Lawn tractor will not start
Sears 14.5 Briggs won't start. Good batt, new starter, new solenoid, new safety and ignition switch. Started once fine with new starter, now nothing, no turning over or clicking. Is this an electrical demon? Any ideas? Thanks

double check all your wires, safety switches, because you have about 3 safety switches.one under the seat, below the frame of the mower and possibly one on the blade engager.you may have to cross them out.and matbe a switch at the clutch/brake pedal

Hello emsandsas!
Check your fuse. Is it blown? Many times the fuse gets blown while changing the solenoid. A safety switch could also be the problem as fordman said. Do you have a test light or volt meter? If so, trace the power supply to the point where you lose it to find the problem. There is a white or possibly yellow wire on the solenoid...plugged onto a spade terminal at the bottom. There should be power to this wire when the key is turned to start and all safety switches are in the correct positions to start.
