Angry snow blower starting problem

I have a TORO snow blower that I purchased last winter. I did not us it. When I try to start it in advance of tommorrow's storm it will not catch and start. Any Ideas? Thank You and Merry Christmas.

Need much more information to help.

Model #? Engine type/size?

Does it have spark? Take off the plug wire, pull the rope while holding the plug to a metal ground. Have a fat, blue, consistent spark? If not, an ignition problem.

Pour a little fuel in the cylinder, then put the plug back in. Try now. If it runs and then dies out in a few seconds, fuel problem.

If you left gas in over the summer in it, your problem is there. Gas turns to varnish in a jiffy when unused and the carburetor will need to be cleaned out. It should then run again.
