Chainsaw Problem

610 Mcullough Chain saw

The saw floods,When I first try to start it.

I remove the spark plug and blow it out,Then it will start.

The saw will restart until the next time, I need it

Hello bigbrass!

That is a common problem. The carb is letting fuel leak into the engine when it is not running. You should be able to solve the problem by rebuilding the carburetor including replacement of the inlet needle. When you go to get a carb rebuild kit, either take the carb with you, or write down the brand and any and all markings on the carb to be sure you get the right kit.
