carburator problem

carburator problem

I have a two cycle jacobsen snowblower is about 15 years. I put new carburator kit the snow blower runs for a while but I notice when is running is a lot of gasoline leaks from the main compartment. I notice too that doesnt have air filter on themain compartment. can you tell me how I can stop the leaking.

Hello Guillermo!

What are you calling the "main compartment"? The air filter housing?

Does fuel leak out of it all the time, or just when it is running?

It should have an air filter at all times.

Find some numbers on the engine and tell us. Or give the
part number off of the kit. Where is the fuel leaking from,
is it just around the fuel line, or out of the air intake?
Snowblowers, generally, do not have an air filter, like boat
motors.

No air filter? Huh.

Shows how much I know about snowblowers, lol!

I never worked on one, snow is seldom even seen here in S. Ga. ...let alone enough to use a snowblower.
