never cleaned a carburator before

I have a Tecumseh push mower, model# HDRBDH21-AG, 4.0HP. I need to clean the carb., but, I don't even know where it is! I'm pretty handy for the most part so this shouldn't be too difficult, I just need somewhere to start. Any info, links, or anything would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Go to www.cpdonline.com and download the free Tecumseh service manual they have there.

That should get you going. Follow the fuel hose from the tank to where it ends. That is the carburetor. Take off the lower bowl screw and bowl and clean both with carburetor cleaner.

The bolt has three holes in it. They must be spotless and clear or the machine will run like crap.
