No spark on Echo PB400E Backpack Blower

I have a PB 400E WHICH HAS NO SPARK AT THE PLUG. Is there a way to check the coil or do you have other suggestions?? Therew is a kill switch in the handle which grounds out the spark I have disconnected it and still no spark

The PB400E If I remember correctly has a 2 piece ignition coil. It's been awhile but I think you have to remove the engine from the blower housing to get to them. Check the wiring from the coils for obvious flaws. Before you take the unit apart, try a new plug. also check the sparkplug boot to make sure the wire tang that snaps on the sparkplug hasn't pulled out of the ignition wire.

I agree...one place to check is where the kill wire runs through the handle. Make sure it is not grounded.
