Diaphram carburetor

I've got a Weedeater blower with a Poulan 2 cycle engine. It has a WT 141 Walbro carburetor (which I am rebuilding). Could someone tell me why this carburetor just has one line going to the fuel tank, where most have two?

A few 2 strokes only need 1 line, they don't have a return. Most of the time it's the cheaper lines that have this. They have no primer and start only with a choke.
