How to adjust Brake

Thanks everyone for the help on the clutch problem on my sears craftsman, it works fine now, but now I have another question !! How do you adjust the brakes ? When I push the clutch down it will stop after rolling abit and if I'm going down a incline it will just keep on rolling !! Terry

You will need to give us a model number. The brakes are not the same on all models.
Did you have a brake problem before the clutch problem?

Look at the rod that goes to the transmission that moves when you depress the clutch pedal. It goes through a hole in a piece of metal on the side of the tranny. Where that flat piece of metal attatches, the is a 1/2" nut in the middle of it. Tighten it 1 or 2 turns and test it. If it still doessn't stop, tighten it another turn, etc...
