gas blower

gas blower

can't get it to run. has spark at plug and have put gas in plug hole and still won't fire. have checked switch??

Roger:

You may have scored cylinder walls. When you pull the stater rope does it seem to have as much compression as it did when it was new? You can check the cylinder walls by removeing the muffler and looking inside.
Check that muffler too, it may be pluged with carbon.

Hello Rogerramjet!

You're saying you have no spark at the plug, right? Try disconnecting the small wire that plugs onto the coil (kill wire). If you still have no spark, then your coil is bad. If you do, then the wire is shorted between the coil and kill switch, or the switch is bad.

mc gas blower

yes, spark at plug compression seems as good as ever and i did check for plugged exhast ??

What kind of blower is this? Check the cylinder bolts to be sure it is bolted down good. Check the crankcase for air leaks. If you have spark, fuel, air in and air out, and compression, all at the right time, it should run, or at least attempt to. Look through the muffler port at the piston skirt. Check for scratches and scars.
