lawnmower problem

hello, I have a arien lawnmower that is given me trouble. it was working fine until couple days ago
I notice that gasoline was coming out from the mufler. I starter it and work for a little bit but seems that the carburator got flotted. can some body tell me was going on. The lawnmower is a self propelled. I did rebuilt the carburator. thanks

The make and model and #s on the engine would be a start.

Sounds like the rebuild was not done properly....

When you rebuilt the carb, did you replace the float and needle? Remove the bowl and check for trash, debris, water, etc... Remove the float and shake it. If you hear fuel sloshing in it, replace it.
