Depends on the model I'm sure.

Just e-mail www.briggsandstratton.com and ask them. Fastest and easiest way.

Additional Suggestions.

Hello: Racer

Emailing the manufacturer is the best method to obtain the information on oil capacity for that specific engine as Joe suggested.

Calling a local small engine repair shop also can help with the answer to the oil question and other questions you may have. A personal visit to the shop to ask for advice often works.

Purchasing an engine specific manual from the dealer or a generic small engine repair manual would provide plenty of information too.

The generic versions of small engine repair manuals are often found in automotive parts stores, most local hardware stores and large retail chain stores selling mowers.

Potential sources for manuals and or replacement parts:

BILLIOU'S 1-209-784-4102

L.S.THORPE CO. INC. 1-617-776-2445

I do not have any affiliations nor vested interests in any of the above retail parts suppliers.

If you go to the website I mentioned, you should be able to enter your model and type # on the site.

The system should return an owner's/parts manual in PDF format you can download.

Walah, instant manual, instant answers .
