Question Eager Beaver Leaf Blower

I have an "Eager Beaver" leaf blower made by McCullen(sp??) that quit working. I bought it years ago ata yard sale, so I do not have an owners manual. I talked to a local small engine repair shop about taking a look at it, but they told me that McCullen(sp??) went out of business and parts are no longer available. They wouldn't even take a look at it, because in theor opinion it's not repairable as a result of no parts being interchangeable for it.

Anyone know of a source for parts or if this is even true that there are no interchangeable parts for this leaf blower?

I don't own one myself...and found a few other people trying to source some parts for the Eager Beaver name as well...they where not having much luck so there may be some truth to the out of bizz part. Usually some parts are the same/interchangable.

Sorry can't help more.

Hello Visser

Potential sources for manuals and or replacement parts:

BILLIOU'S 1-209-784-4102

L.S.THORPE CO. INC. 1-617-776-2445

I do not have any affiliations nor vested interests in any of these retail parts suppliers. Provided solely to assist with locating parts.

Small engine parts can also be found at your local small engine and lawn mower repair shops listed in the phone book.

Other small engine service and repair professionals, replying within this forum, may be able to offer you additional locations and or sources to obtain manuals and or parts.

Check back on your topic several times.

Visser...you can often find these in the junk piles at small engine repair shops. That would probably be the best scource of parts. I do happen to have a scource for these old blowers. Once the parts run out, they will be gone though. What do you need?
