Chainsaw has a cold

I have an old Olympyk chain saw that runs good until it warms up.Then it wont come up to full power. If your run a tank of gas through it and then try to refill, when the gas cap comes off there is alot of pressure in the tank. After the fuel is full, the tank looks like it has an Alka-Seltzer in it.Lotsa bubbles. Also the air filter is damp.......I'm thinking rings are bad but............any ideas?

Hello Keith!

I'm not real familiar with Olympyk saws, but many saws pressurize the tank. It sounds to me like you may have carburetor problems, but check the compression before getting too involved.
