Stihl string trimmer

I have a Stihl string trimmer - Model FS 76. The problem I'm having is, I can't seem to get it to start. I am getting a wonderful strong blue spark. I have changed out the spark plug and the gasoline filter. I've even removed the spark plug and sprayed starting fluid directly into the cylinder...sill won't start. I've never run into one that wouldn't start...with starting fluid sprayed directly into the cylinder. It seems to have pretty good compression. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check and make sure your exhaust isn't blocked with unburnt oil.

Hello Jack!

Racer is on track...check the exhaust for carbon buildup and blockage. Some of these stihl mufflers have a screen inserted into them that can just be pulled out and cleaned. Let us know what you find!
