Get your model number,type and serial number off the starter shroud and go to you local small engine dealer. They may be able to reference a flywheel for that particular motor through the Briggs book.

Hello Tools!

You should be able to find a good used flywheel with ring gear for it at most any small engine repair shop. You'll also need the alternator that bolts under the flywheel for charging the battery.

Tool;

Get the model number off the shroud and go to the link below. They have a lot of information if you can find it.

Good luck.

If you find out what you need try ebay. New flywheels are very expensive and used ones at dealers are half that much. Good luck and make sure you have alternator mounting screws in the block!
