Aftermarket oil filter source

I bought a garden tractor with a Kohler Command CV730 twin cylinder engine and need to locate a replacement oil filter for the OEM part # 12 050 01-S filter. Any help with this is truly appreciated!

John Deere's number for this filter is AM125424. I bet it costs more than going to Sears or Lowes for the Kohler filter.

Hello Brett D!

AC Delco makes a filter (I cannot tell any difference between it and the Kohler filter, even the machine marks and stamps) that is comparable. It is the AC Duragard PF53. Make sure it is the Duragard line, or it will not have the anti-drainback valve.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I'll look for the AC Delco first since it would be at a local auto parts house.
