B & S throllel problem

thanks guys for your help with the briggs and stration throttle, I got it free but no I have a new problem.

when the engin runs i can adjust the throttle a fraction but now as I run the motor it gose back to where I set it and then speeds up and pops dose this often.

what can the prob be gas, throttle hmmmm any suggestions

Jacob is this the same lawnmower??A B&S Classic??Sounds to me that the diaphregm in the carb.Is folded/you missed a mounting hole while instaling it,the motor will make poping noises.Catch air and wont run right.

If it's stiff,wrinkled or any of the 5 mouting holes is riped out you'll have to replace it,use B&S P/N 495770
