Help with riding mower tranny

my mower dies

have a rideing lawn mower, 15.5 hp, and i can start it up and let it run for about 10 minutes and after that time it just like starts dieing down and sounds like it's starveing for air and another 5 minutes it dies. anyone please help me !!!! ASAP

Hello troyfiremedic!

I split this post from the old thread you replied to since it was not related.

Try loosening the gas cap when it begins to die. If it picks back up, then your cap vent is clogged. If not, try removing the air filter when it begins to die. If it runs good again, the filter needs replacing. If not, check your fuel filter and lines...make sure fuel flows freely out of them. Let us know what you find!
