Murray rider mower won't start?

undefined

I have a six year old Murray rider mower that won't start after I replaced the drive belt. It has been working great till I made repairs. I lifted the mower on its rearend to make repair. Most of the oil leaked out. The mower will turn over but won't start. I cleaned the oil filter. Should I remove the spark plug and clean or replace it? What do you think.

Well you should definately remove and inspect the spark plug, while you have it out also crank the engine a few times, see if oil and or fuel is blown out of the spark plug hole. If the plug is in good condition but just wet with oil, you should be able to clean and reinstall it. Also make sure you refill your oil.

Cool

check your air filter because you will blow smoke like crazy if it has oil in it. good luck.
