I have a 16hp simpicity tractor that after cutting grass for 2 or 3 hours I have to jump start it to get it running again also I have to turn the key 2 or 3 times before it will turn over. I cleaned all cables neg. at frame also and replaced pos.cable put in new battery and change silonoid. Where do I go from here?

Check the ignition switch terminals. If they are rusty, clean them or replace it. That could the solution to both problems.

sceptre: took starter out already and took it to the dealer and had it tested they said it was Ok.but they didn't have it under a load I think they just hooked it to a battery.I don't know if that would matter. Don't you guys sleep I looked at the time on these threads and there in the middle of the night!

What brand and model engine do you have? You probably don't have a rectifier like the one mentioned in Teas' thread. When you try to start it, but have to turn the key 2 or 3 times, does the engine try to move at all, or do you hear a click, or does nothing happen?

Ok, that engine should have the regulator, although it is solid state and non serviceable. Look on the side of the engine for a square box with wires going into and out of it. The wires coming from it and going to the mower should have around 13 volts on them with the engine running at full throttle.
