Briggs and straton throttel

ok guy I found the problem of the cause of my murray 3.5 mower its the throttel it wont adjust when I move the lever from bunny to turttle,

I took the air filter off and checked the lever I have 2 springs on it am I supposed to have 3 I do see a hole oppsite of one spring , if so where can I get parts to fix it .

LOL sorry for the spelling im a do it yourselfer not a spelling wiz

If you're moving the throttle lever on the handlebar, but the throttle control bracket at the carburetor is not moving, then you have a broken throttle cable or handle/lever.

You will not have three springs, two at the most. Do you have shrubs or bushes you have to mow under? If so, the arm where the biggest spring, at the point closest to the spark plug, may have gotten tweeked. Just bend it out to increase RPM's.
