MTD Self Propelled Mower Drive Chain

I have an older MTD mower that I only use every now and then. I keep it tuned and operating, but now I'm having a problem with the drive chain slipping off just about every time I use it.

MTD apparently doesn't have an on-line manual for this model/lot (120-280R050/A090CL) and I can't figure out whether there's a way to tighten the chain or if I need to buy a new one.

Suggestions would be most appreciated!

Found a manual and it speaks of 2 adjustments, one to the drive clutch which it explains, and in troubleshooting mentions the chain as a possiblity, although I found nothing on how or even a part listing for the chain.
Heres a link for the manual.

Still maybe the manual and some DIY mentality will prevail

MTD Manual

Thanks for the manual, Az!

I looked all over and couldn't find it. Maybe I'll have better luck with that pesky chain.
