John Deere gas string trimmer too fast
Hi.
The engine on my John Deere gas string trimmer starts fine, idles fine, but after about 5 minutes of use the engine revs way too fast when the throttle is pushed. At this point, it still idles normal (edit: or idles a little fast).
Anyone know what my problem could be?

Hello drewb50!
2 stroke engine? if so, sounds like you may have an air leak, either through a bad fuel line, or crankcase seal. Check the fuel lines and primer bulb (if equipped).
