weedeater 18cc carb trouble

When I push the priming bulb in, it stays in....Replaced hoses and filter...no luck. Cleaned carb, ran great for 2 starts. Took carb apart again, blew out holes, cleaned screen, (wasn't dirty that I could see) put together. Pressed primer bulb, worked fine. Hooked up fuel line. Won't suck up fuel. Any help? Thanks...

Hello keagle!

Any chance you crossed the fuel lines when you reassembled it? Check the primer bulb for cracks/holes.

Can you get fuel to flow through the line while disconnected from the carb? If so, then you still have problems in the carb. Did you install a rebuild kit when you had it apart?

lines and filter work fine. Fuel just won't go into carb. I can squirt cleaning fluid through carb inlet. When fuel line is hooked back up...it won't go into carb....

problem fixed

Feel like a BIG DUMMY! Rebuilt carb, replaced fuel lines, filter, all for no reason...
found a "microscopic" pinhole in primer bulb. Too small to really see, but big enough to cause problem. Thanks for all the help.
