Broken flywheel key on Tecumseh

My relatively new Ariens mower with a 6 hp Tecumseh recently stopped running and made a metal-on-metal noice when I tried to pull the started cord. The local dealer initially thought engine was shot, but quickly determined that the blade had apparently been loose and flywheel key had eventually broken/sheered.

What should it cost (labor and other parts required) to replace the key if no other damage was done. The key itself cost $1.45.

At my shop, if all we had to do was the flywheel key, it would cost you about $20-25.
