generac pressure washer

i have a generac pressure washer model no. 1675-0. it has a 2400 psi
faip pump. the question is i drained the oil in the pump, the only info
i can find says to add 4 oz. of 15w50 synthetic oil. i bought a quart of
15w50 mobil 1. i added 4 oz. did'nt appear to be enough so i added one more
oz. for a total of 5 oz. can anyone tell me what is correct?

I don't have service manuals on these units, but I do have parts look-up available and amongst the parts listed is a 5.3oz. bottle of synthetic oil. I would safely assume that this is the capacity of the pump.

Thanx for the info, that would seem correct because, i removed the vent tube for a looksee at the oil level and i could just see the oil, if i tilted the unit to the side. i should've caught the oil and measured what i drained.
but anyway, i added oil til i could see the oil like be4.

thanx again,
