Question Lawn tractor only runs with choke out

I have an MTD tactor (Yard Machines 18.5 HP LT 42" with a 2 cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine) that stalls if I push the choke all the way in after starting. This began a week ago. The tractor runs if I leave the choke most of the way out, although it seems to be using a lot of gas.

Today, I replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, and put in fresh gas. The problem persists. I also tried adjusting the carberator screws without success.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
