riding lawn mower blades

I need to locate 2 blades for my riding lawn mower. It is a Montgomery Ward, 1970's model. The cut is a 36" , 2- 18" blades. Any information about where I can get/ purchase lawn mower blades, would be appreciated. Thanks,

With out the model of the tractor, it's usually difficult and time consuming to find the proper blade. You do have two things that you can do though, sometimes the blades have the numbers stamped onto them, you'd have to use a wire brush to see if they are there or you can just take the blades down with you to a lawn and garden dealer and they may be able to match them up.

Take one of the old blades to Wal Mart (if the blade has a round hole), or a local lawnmower shop (if it has a star shaped hole). Just compare the length, width and hole size until you find the right one.
