Unhappy Macullock Chain Saw chain oiling

I have a Macullock chainsaw which does not oil the chain. I think that the oil jet is blocked. Is there any way of clearing this blockage?

You should be able to see the oil passage when you remove the bar. You may be able to blow it out with compressed air or carb cleaner, but don't blow directly into the oil hole.

I had a MAc Cat 18 which would not oil. I thought the oiler line was clogged but through a process of elimination I discovered the oil pump was worn out. I talked to a repair shop and they said this was fairly common.I found the part on the net and replaced it for around $20.00. Worked fine for an hour and then the clutch housing broke. I decided it wasn't worth the cost of repair parts at that time.
I bought a Homelite 18" refurbished for $100.
