Craftsman snowblower/ground wire
I have an older Craftsman snow thrower # 536.90515, with a Craftsman 4-cycle engine #143.646202. One end of the ground wire (part #25349) attaches to the throttle control assembly. To what does the other end attach? The folks at the parts store did not know. Need to re-attach so I can get her running again. Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

ground wire
Look at the bolt that holds down the lower part of the blower housing (flywheel cover). You should see a wire from under the cover connected to an insulator mounted on a small bracket attached by that bolt. There should be a lug there that matches the connector on the wire you have (35349???). When the wire is connected there the engine will be "killed" when the throttle control is all the way down. Grounding the wire shorts the ignition primary to ground.

Correct. If there is no wire coming from under the blower shroud, then that is probably the wire you're looking at. If this is the case, then that wire connects to the coil.
