Traction Belt Pulley Wheel--Snowblower

Hi. I'm replacing the Traction belt in my Craftsman 10/29 snowblower. I would like to know if there should be play in the pulley wheel and shaft. There is in mine and i'm wondering if this is coirrect and if it tightens up when belt and tension mechanism are in place, Thanks for all your help.

Sorry for a lack of replies. No, there should not be any side play there. This indicates a worn impeller bearing and should be replaced. Whether or not you have wear in the pulley ID will have to be determined once removed from the shaft.
