Vertical Shaft Engines

I actually have 3 vertical shaft ex push mower engines without decks. They both are briggs and run real strong. I dont need any new mowers so i am trying to get ideas on perhaps a snow blower or a generator i could build with them. Any ideas or plans would be appreciated.

Oh and i know that ya cant mount a vertical engine horizontally due to lubrication, any ideas around this??

Again any ideas or opinions appreciated.....

Hello JB72, I know most gen sets are not to be run in a vertical position due to stress on thrust brgs. I guess in order to run a gen you'd have to set up a twist in the V-belts. As for snowblowers, I haven't seen one with a vertical shaft engine. Maybe there's one out there I don't know about.
