homelite trimmer carb question
Hi. I've got a Homelite Trimmer UT-20617A with a Walbro carb WT-458. I don't have the owner's manual and I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the carb. It appears to only have two adjustment screws on it, right next to each other left to right. I'm sure one if for high and the other for low. Any thoughts on which one is which? Also, once I've got that down, which way to turn them to adjust them? I don't know if I need richer or leaner. The trimmer runs ok, but I've got some oil coming out the exhaust which makes me think I'm running too rich.
Thanks,
Ethan

If it runs good, then I wouldn't adjust the screws. If you get it too lean, it will burn up the engine. Oil out the exhaust would indicate too much oil in the gas, or a lot of throttling up and down without keeping it revved up high for long periods at a time.
