Honda Harmony self-propelled - needs new belt

I have the Honda Harmony self-propelled lawn mower (5 yrs. old) and I think I need a new belt. You have to push it up-hill. How hard is it to install a new belt?

When I called a Honda dealer for the repair, they told me I'd have to replace the transmission also and it would cost over $100. Is that true?

I wouldn't doubt if you did need a tranny, since the harmonys have had a lot of tranny failures. Is yours belt driven? I may be thinking wrong, but I thought they had a shaft drive. I can't remember, and I don't have one here to look at.
