New to using gas yard tools
Hello everyone,
I've been helping a friend with her yard work. Just recently, I bought a used Craftsman gas 32cc trimmer. When i'm using it I get a lot of gas exhaust from the trimmmer. The "choke" level is set at half way. The guy I bought it from told me to set it at full choke and pull the cord then put it back at half then pull the cord while holding the trigger. The guy also told me that there enough oil for at least 4 months; there also enought gas in it. It runs well, but too much gas exhaust. Thank you for your help because I'm a idiot when it comes to yard tools.

After you get it started, rev it up a few times on half choke. Then turn the choke to "off". You should not have to run it continously on half choke (you can check the owner's manual to verify this).
Periodically check the oil level as you use it. It's tough to say oil will last for 4 months because that totally depends on how often you use it. Good luck.
