Homelite chainsaw won't run

Was using my 9 month old Homelite Bandit to take down some bushes yesterday. Everything was fine until several minutes into it when the saw would quit at idle. I could restart it on one pull and it would run again until I let it idle, then quit. Eventually the saw would only start when at half choke, full throttle. As soon as I let up on the throttle it would die.

Not sure where to go here (can't find my owners manual for the troubleshooting guide).

Thanks.

I have a Homelite 23AV and not sure if it's the same as yours. Mine started doing something similiar and I found the carb to be loose on the cylinder. Tightened it and installed some threadlocker and has worked fine ever since.

Any chance it was used without oil in the gas?
